For those with premium membership to Microsoft’s XNA development community you can now take part in their closed beta trails.
XNA lets the communities develop their own game creations and those rated high enough by peers stand a chance at appearing on Xbox Live.
This system is a part of Microsoft’s ”democratisation” idea, which they were tooting their horn about at the GDC. The XNA ‘movement’ has been stirred up with competitions and student initiatives to help bolster a future for the tools and community.
Four months membership costs $49 or a full year at $99. The XNA Creators Club Online has been given a fresh lick of paint too.
