A source has dished on the Sony Computer Entertainment Staff Annual Briefing held in London to D+Pad, they report a price cut looms and spill sequel news too.
Uncharted 2 was shown a bit but with no title, the highlight though seems to have been God of War 3 which was ”masterfully shown at the end”, but couldn’t tell if it was CGI or not.
”Looks the same as Uncharted 1, no bad thing”, D+Pad’s source tells them, don’t expect much of a graphical leap then.
But back on God of War 3: ”Some of it looked like it could be in-game action because of the camera angles, but it all looked so good that it couldn’t be. CGI or not, everyone was pumped up by this. The anticipation is growing. God of War 3 could be amazing.”
Also revealed were LittleBigPlanet and MotorStorm heading toward PSP which is no surprise given the love affair Sony has planned for the two devices.
The price cuts will apparently tie in with Easter and the release of Kill Zone 2 says D+Pad’s report, and the news comes from SCEE President David Reeves who discussed the economic situation were all grimacing through right now.
