Fans of the God of War series may have a reason to be rather excited about the upcoming Electronics Entertainment Expo (E3), which is slated for mid-July. According to multiple sources, a Sony representative at a recent GDC event held in Paris let this big cat out of the bag:
God of War III for the PlayStation 3 will apparently be shown in some form at the big show in Los Angeles.
The game’s release window is still over a year away, so it’s not expected that the official unveiling will be much more than a teaser trailer—and that game won’t be playable at the show. Considering that not much has been mentioned about the game up to now, any new content will be welcomed with open arms.
Look for more coverage of God of War III and of E3 next month as we gear up for one of the premier events in the video gaming industry.
