The US date for WiiWare, which allows users to develop their own games for the Wii, has already been set for May 12.
When asked about the Wii hungry Europeans getting their euro mitts on the home-brewing dev kit, Nintendo refuse to let up on the silence and won't even hint when an announcement could be made.
“We’re not announcing Euro plans on this right now,” representative of Nintendo UK.
WiiWare is a “game-creation service” which allows developers of varying sizes to create games that Nintendo can then sell through the Wii Shop for Wii Points.
"Independent developers armed with small budgets and big ideas will be able to get their original games into the marketplace to see if we can find the next smash hit," said Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime. "WiiWare brings new levels of creativity and value to the ever-growing population of Wii owners."
