During an interview OXM Valve’s Doug Lombardi has said the team would ”love to do that,” when asked about Counter-Strike hitting the Xbox360 Arcade.
Portal: Still Alive is Valve’s first XBLA title and lets gamers get a hold of Portal without needing the Orange Box compilation - which is fantastic value quite frankly.
”If you look at what we’ve done on steam, we try to make all our games available and we’re always reviewing the prices to keep them current. We’d love to do that, but this is our first step at doing that beyond the PC,” replied Valve’s Marketing Director, Doug Lombardi.
He also confirmed their studios commitment to the PC and Xbox360, at least for now anyways. ”Right now, Valve’s doing PC and 360 stuff, so anything we would iterate on would be on Xbox. We don’t have any immediate plans to do this on PS3 or Nintendo.”
