Developer Creative Assembly will say ”thank you” to the community by including five new multiplayer maps free when the 1.5 patch goes live, which is when Warpath retails.
Warpath is the mini-expansion to Empire: Total War. The patch is said to include significant tweaks to the game AI and the new maps support ”all team sizes”. Warpath here ”soon.”
”We’re pleased to announce that we’ll be releasing five new multiplayer maps with the upcoming 1.5 Patch. These maps are to mark the release of Warpath on the same day and are a thank you for the communities continued support,” posted Creative.
”To be clear these maps are free with the 1.5 patch, you don’t need to purchase Warpath to enjoy them.” The previous 1.4 patch changed a lot for the naval combat AI. All of the new maps are enabled ”for all team sizes” - 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4. Here’s the list:

• Syrian Ridge

• Siberian Plateau
