Publisher Sega has ruined Christmas, or may as well have for gamers looking forward to PlatinumGames’ Bayonetta getting a playable demo this year, unless you’re Japanese.
If your PlayStation 3 happens to call Japan ‘home’ then you’re in luck because next week a demo will release on the PlayStation Network. Bayonetta on PS3 has had some trouble.
Sega are handling the PS3 version of Bayonetta while developer PlatinumGames focuses on the Xbox 360 version. Already the Sony platform port has been criticized for poor performance but they say this won’t be a problem soon enough.
Sega is likely releasing the demo this early in Japan to ease fan fears, it will after all sell much better in Japan and on the PlayStation 3 more. For US and EU gamers, well be waiting much closer to the Q1 2010 release date of the game itself for the demo to arrive.
