The PCGA has two new directors as Capcom and The Guildhall sign up. The Alliance is to help promote PC gaming, as well as discuss its problems.
Capcom ”believes strongly in the value and strength” of the PC says VP Christian Svensson. The Guildhall teaches game creation at Southern Methodist University, Texas.
What the heck is a PCGA exactly? Well ”the PCGA provides an open forum where companies can cooperate to develop and promote solutions that drive the PC gaming industry forward.” At least that’s their cover story until the New World Order is complete and they conquer the globe in a brutal stroke of the pen, or mouse click.
Svensson adds that their previous dealings with the PCGA ”has greatly improved our understanding of the market….and allowed us to participate in improving the field of PC gaming.”
”Capcom believes strongly in the value and strength of the PC gaming market as a global platform for our entertainment brands.” They’re not just spewing PR either as Capcom have greatly stepped up their PC line up over the past year.
”We’re pleased to have a representative on the board in order to directly help shape the future of the PC gaming environment,” noted the Capcom VP.
”We believe the work of the PCGA is vitally needed to ensure that the PC remains a viable platform of choice for gamers worldwide,” said The Guildhall’s executive director, Dr. Peter Raad.
