Blizzard has finally succumbed to the lure of micro-transactions. Putting two of it’s in-game pets up for sale in the Blizzard Store, this marks the first time the company has offered WoW items for sale for real-life currency.
Blizzard has also been raising the prices of game services, such as race changes and transfers.
So far, only Pandaren Monk and Lil’ K.T. are available, but more are expected soon. The pets costs £9 ($10) each, half of the proceeds from the sales of Pandaren will go to the Make-a-Wiosh Foundation charity for all purchases before December 31st.
More information can be found on the official WoW website.
