THQ has revealed the upcoming MMO for Warhammer 40K is currently expected sometime in their 2012 fiscal year, but this could easily shift.
Comic book man Joe Madureira is the creative director for the project, along with developer Vigil Games they promise to be delivering as true to the tabletop experience as they can.
EA and Mythic have released Warhammer Online but some fans have complained it doesn’t reflect the darker, grittier nature of the Warhammer universe. If Madureira and Vigil stick to their guns then THQ will end up publishing a mature MMO for sure.
