The peripheral wielding RIDE has missed the UK's Top 40, entering at 32 for Xbox 360 and 29 for PS3 individually. It's around GBP 99.99.
Developer Robomodo, the first time a Tony Hawk game hasn't been linked with veteran Hawk'er Neversoft, hasn't been fairing to well among critics. Its metacritic score is currently circling the parking lot at 48/100.
Despite that, Tony Hawk himself is happy with Robomodo's work. "Most snarky critics had their minds set before ever seeing/playing the game. I'm proud of what we created; it's innovative, responsive and fun," he twittered.
The main problem is the process of buying the game, as many retailers actually cite it as being 'out of stock', reports GamesIndustry.biz. This isn't down to phenomenal numbers being crunched though but low stock levels being pushed to retailers it seems.
Tony Hawk RIDE costs between £89 to £99 in the UK, which is a major point of contention. Already the music genre with Rock Band and Guitar Hero has us flooded with plastic crap. Activision also plans to test the waters with high pricing for their big games.
We've stacked and ollied in Tony Hawk RIDE, and hurled our opinion on the net. You?
