Microsoft has revealed during CES that the Master Chief and his buddies have sold over 25 million, with about 150 hours online for the average player.
Also confirmed was the arrival of Halo 3: ODST for release this year, as well as Halo Wars arriving February 28th in the US, with a demo coming earlier in the month.
Halo Wars is the last ever title to come from the veteran Ensemble studio which is set to officially close and reform elsewhere; the studio is most known for Age of Empires.
"With 28 million consoles sold worldwide, an active online community of 17 million members, and more than USD 1 billion spent on Xbox Live since the launch of the Xbox 360, it’s clear that consumer demand for these great entertainment experiences has never been higher," said Microsoft's Robbie Bach, presumably whilst breaking into a spontaneous 'High School Musical' like dance number to emphasis the companies glee.
"We're only beginning to scratch the surface of what’s possible with Xbox."
