PlayStation 3 has got its last ”significant” update for the year, but it hasn’t all been celebration for some users as technical trouble plagues their consoles now.
SCEA acknowledges there are PS3 owners ”experiencing isolated issues” since firmware 3.0 was released. Engineers are ”looking into the matter” and will provide an update ASAP.
PS3 users had started to complain of mid-session freezes during some games, while others talked of DualShock controllers having trouble synching with the console.
”SCEA is aware of reports that PS3 owners are experiencing isolated issues with their PS3 system since installing the most recent system software update (v3.00), posted SCEA’s Patrick Seybold on the US PlayStation.Blog.
”Rest assured that we are looking into the matter and will provide an update here as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience, as it’s our mission to deliver the best consumer experience on all PlayStation platforms.” Firmware 3.00 released September 1st.
Have you been experiencing trouble, PS3 owner? Do you like what 3.00 has done with the place?
