With Battlefront III taken back from Free Radical (now Crytek UK), it was believed the project was to be helmed by Pandemic Studios.
Well it’s not says Pandemic with only LucasArts the ones to know ”where the title is” right now. According to a VG247 source though they are working on a ”spiritual successor”, non-Star Wars.
”As of right now I can say Battlefront 3 is not currently at Pandemic. While I know the title seems to be up in the air from all the buzz around the web…” posted an admin on Pandemic Studios’ official forum. ”LucasArts will be the only one knowing where the title is at right now.”
VG247 contacted their original tipster and found out that, ”Apparently, Pandemic is working on the “spiritual successor” to Battlefront II, but with a different IP.” Dun-dun-dun.
Well it’s official then, Battlefront III is missing in action. Watch the clip below for a glimpse at what Free Radical had in store.
