Boasting this new tech is ”truly Next-Gen ready”, Crytek will be showing its muscle during the Game Developers Conference.
They say this ”complete game engine solution” helps maximise creativity, slash budgets and ”creates greater gaming experiences.” CryENGINE 3 is raring to go on consoles, and not just PC like its predecessors.
It’s been developed to work as a platform for Xbox 360, PS3, MMO and DX9/DX10 - which they claim is a true first.

This is Crytek’s first venture into console waters with their own game engine technology, the developer has kept it no secret they want console projects in their future line-ups.

Crytek will be showcasing their new shiny CryENGINE 3 during the Game Developers Conference second half, beginning on the 25th and ending on the 27th of March.
