Blizzard has announced a rather surprising guest attendance at this year’s BlizzCon, which runs August 21st-22nd at the Anaheim Convention Center.
Ozzy will be there to ”rock the house” when things end, revealed CEO Mike Morhaime. Many at Blizz are ”lifelong fans”, with Ozzy no stranger to advertising the studios work.
Tickets to BlizzCon sold in mere minutes but luckily this year’s mayhem will be broadcast on Pay Per View or through DIRECTV’s internet stream afterward. The PPV will set you back $39.95.
”Our goal with BlizzCon is to deliver an unforgettable weekend of entertainment, and we can’t think of a better way to close out this year’s show than having Ozzy rock the house,” said Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard, reports CVG.
”Many of us at Blizzard are lifelong fans of Ozzy’s music, and we’re thrilled that he’ll be performing for all of our BlizzCon attendees as well as those joining us via DIRECTV and the live Internet stream.”
Aside from Ozzy Osbourne, Mr. T and Silvio (Steve Van Sandt) from The Sopranos have also done World of Warcraft ads for Blizzard. Are you attending this year’s BlizzCon, videogamer?
