Batman: Arkham Asylum developer Rocksteady Studios is busy cooking up the next Hitman instalment, which has always been IO Interactive turf, if an actor resume speaks truth.
Actor Mark Sloan has apparently been over at Rocksteady doing motion capture work for them on Hitman 5, spills his online profile. Rocksteady has worked with Eidos before.
The next Hitman game is said to tie-in with events surrounding the movie sequel, and presumably developer IO is way too busy with Kane & Lynch 2, though tragically not a Freedom Fighters 2. sobs
If Batman: Arkham Asylum’s demo is any indication of the awesome impending Batman experience, then Number 47 looks to be doing alright for himself with Rocksteady. Agree?
It’s all just rumour for now, remember. Until Eidos or Square lips start flapping about the new Hitman and who’s pulling the all nighters behind it we’re left to speculate. Rocksteady could have just been lending their studio out to IO for some motion capture after all…
