Berlin-based Frogster are a happy publisher indeed, their Runes of Magic MMO has reached one million registered users across Europe and the US.
They’re utterly ”convinced” that’ll grow even more when the expanded language versions ship out the door. For two years the team have looked for a ”real hit title”, now they have one.
”We at Frogster have been looking for a real hit title for two years and are happy to have found one this last year with Runes of Magic,” boasted Andreas Weidenhaupt, Frogster boss.
The MMO launched less than a year ago and has obtained the one million milestone achievement, a thing quite rare for any MMORPG to see in its lifetime - unless you see the name Blizzard on your employee nametag.
Of course it is a free-to-play MMO which works in its favour for some many registered users, though it certainly looks pretty and worth taste - it IS free after all…
