Atari’s Ghostbusters for PC is likely to be the least fun after scans of the box reveal it needs an Internet connection, but only for authentication purposes.
Unlike its Xbox 360 and PS3 counterparts it has no multiplayer capability or online co-op and won’t be supporting DLC. Ghostbusters releases this week in Europe, but only on PS3/PSP.
”Internet connection required for first-time authentication (connection not required after authentication)”, reads the minimum system requirements, reports Ecto-Web.
For those who want a copy on Xbox 360 in Europe, and don’t want to wait till October, you can always import the US version of the game as it’s not region locked. Either way, the next-gen console versions seem the far superior breed of the game. See the E3 trailer below.
