Developer Traveller’s Tales, now experts of all things LEGO, teamed up with Rock Band’s Harmonix and have been hard at work infusing plastic bricks and studs with music.
LEGO Rock Band, which features family-friendly tunes, will be releasing in the UK on November 27th for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and DS. Rock VIPS have been thoroughly Lego-ised.
The full track list has already been spilled by Warner Bros and MTV, and they confirm the kid-centric nature of the game. They include ‘We Are The Champions’ by Queen, ‘Kung Fu Fighting’ by Carl Douglas, ‘Walking on Sunshine’ by Katrina & The Waves.
Queen’s Brain May has already lauded this ”ultimate accolade, to be portrayed in Lego,” when he revealed a Queen: Rock Band might just be happening. LEGO Rock Band was rumoured for a long time before it was eventually made official. See the E3 ‘09 teaser trailer below.
