It’s a total blockbuster with ”epic wow moments” to survive as we try to save our brother’s Kingdom from ruin. Expect ”huge-scale” combat.
”Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is the next chapter in the fan-favourite Sands of Time universe. Visiting his brother’s kingdom following his adventure in Azad, the Prince finds the royal palace under siege from a mighty army bent on its destruction,” blurbs the press release, reports VG247.
”When the decision is made to use the ancient power of the Sand in a desperate gamble to save the kingdom from total annihilation, the Prince will embark on an epic adventure in which he will learn to bear the mantle of true leadership, and discover that great power often comes with a great cost.” It takes place between Sands of Time and Warrior Within.
It’s being released on Xbox 360, PS3, PSP, Wii, DS and PC next year. The PSP, DS and Wii versions offer a ”different gaming experience” from the next-gen systems and PC.
May 2010 will also see the theatrical release of the Prince of Persia movie, starring Jake Gyllenhaal as our time-bending, gravity defying Prince. Has it caught your eye?
