Microsoft have announced that the new Zune HD will be getting Project Gotham Racing: Ferrari Edition by the end of this year, as the new device went on sale in the US.
Still no European retail date exists for the Zune HD, but the brand will be arriving once the Xbox Live Video Marketplace starts supporting streams through them later this year. That cool?
"With today's announcement, the Zune business is growing into a comprehensive entertainment service that's no longer tied to any one screen or device," said Microsoft's Enrique Rodriguez.
"Zune lets consumers connect to their music, TV shows and movie content and enjoy it on the three screens they use every day." Zune HD is on sale in the US only at $219.99 for the 16GB model and $289.99 for the larger 32GB. It's their answer to Apple's iPod, they hope.
"Eventually we’ll offer the full digital entertainment experience spanning screens, devices, platforms and geographies," said the giant's Chris Stephenson. Do you Zune?
Project Gotham Racing: Ferrari Edition, Vans Sk8: Pool Service and Audiosurf: Tilt have all been given the nod by Microsoft as releasing for the Zune HD by the end of year, purchasable through the Zune Marketplace via wi-fi connection or Zune desktop software.
