According to LucasArts el presidente Darrell Rodriguez, they've got an "internal team" on it along with "other development partners."
The first shifted faster than any other Star Wars title to date and cleared 6 million copies in sales, so a sequel was definite. "Our internal team here in San Francisco will be focused on the game in addition to other development partners," Rodriguez told Joystiq.
"The San Francisco team is made up of TFU veterans who are all bringing their hard earned muscle memory to the development process." No word on who the partners are on the project but they are taking on new development staff.
LucasArts is "currently hiring for some other unannounced products that we are internally developing as well," added boss Rodriguez. Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2 was announced at the 2009 VGAs, where a debut trailer aired. It's likely out in 2010.
