Mega-super giant publisher Activision has announced confirmation that the new peripheral wielding Tony Hawk game is heading to Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii.
It will release this year for sure and is being developed by RoboModo for next-gen systems, while Buzz Monkey tackles the Wii. The ‘skateboard’ is fitted with sensors and stuff.
According to the legend himself, Tony Hawk, the peripheral is able to mimic the actions of the player tremendously well thanks to sensors and an accelerometer. Activision’s Rob Kotisch hails the bit of plastic as a ”massive step forward” for the whole industry.
Well that’s all very nice but want skateboarding videogamers want to really know? Is it a Skate killer?
