Albion Online Radiant Wilds Update Content
The main bit of content in Albion Online’s Radiant Wilds update is the aforementioned visual overhaul, which promises “new lighting, new water shaders, improved textures and new details like vegetation and insects to bring even more life to Albion” without increasing the game’s system requirements.
Better coloring and contrast should make environments more pleasant to explore, while the developer has also focused on “enhancing the individual feel of each biome, with regional vegetation, gusts of sand, snow and pollen, and detailed terrain.”
The Armory is another content addition slated to go live when Albion Online Radiant Wilds update releases. Using player data, it recommends builds for various game modes and “can be accessed directly or via other in-game UIs.”
Furthermore, the Arena is set to receive a 1v1 mode that should help get players “accustomed to solo PvP in a non-lethal space.”
A series of performance improvements, especially during larger battles, are also on the way, while combat and UI navigation should become “smoother and more intuitive across all platforms” when using controllers.
