Ubisoft are throwing a small army behind the development of Assassin’s Creed 2, with a dev team now standing around 450 people.
Amongst the group are staff who ”envisioned” the original game, the sequel is in the hands of developers who know the project ”very well,” assures producer Sebastien Puel.
”The team’s size for the second title of Assassin’s Creed 2 is about three times the size of the team of the first game,” Puel told NowGamer.
Making Assassin’s Creed ”from A to Z took around four years… it’s a very good thing we are keeping most of the core members who envisioned the first Assassin’s Creed. They know the project very well.”
Apparently some of the ”thousands of ideas” they never got to implement in the first game are being fleshed out in the sequel. We can’t wait to meet this new breed of Assassin.
