SCEE’s Andrew House has announced the PSP will support Digital Reader functionality for comics, with 50 new comics arriving ”every month” he promised.
Marvel is on board with other publishers to be revealed at a later date, with hundreds of comics to be available at the launch of the service. More than comics will be supported eventually.
Further comic bigwigs are ”to be announced soon,” so rest assured the ”biggest names in the comics world” will be coming to PSP tease Sony.
”Content from other partners such as IDW Publishing, iVerse Media and others, as well as graphic novels for bite-sized entertainment on demand and on the go will be available,” adding that fifty new comics will be made available every month for avid readers.
SCEE also hinted that more than just comics will be supported by the Digital Reader… so expect some novels to make their way in the future.
