Anyone caught playing ill gotten Forza Motorsport 3 or Borderlands will face a permanent ban from Xbox Live warns Microsoft’s head bouncer, Stephen Toulouse.
Gamers who’ve managed to score a copy early, and have paid for said score, don’t have anything to fear from them. Toulouse notes ”if you got a receipt, play away”; others may cower.
”Don’t worry folks, anyone who bought a copy early is ok. In general, if you got a receipt, play away. These are illegit copies we’re hitting,” twittered Toulouse.
Turn 10’s Forza Motorsport 3 has already suffered major leakage over certain unsavoury websites, with Borderlands falling victim as well. Both Xbox 360 titles will be available legitimately later this week.
Borderlands is being released on Xbox 360, PS3 this week with PC arriving next week.
