The German ratings board have revealed the 1990 classic adventure title is getting hip with the times; it’s called the ‘Special Edition’.
It’s most likely getting the HD treatment. Of course it’s possible, though there’s a very small chance, that this could be a full blown retail title. It’s probably not and just an XBLA touch-up.
There’s no clue as to why this Secret of Monkey Island is called the Special Edition, perhaps they’ve redone some puzzles or something? Activision as the European publishing partner for LucasArts it attached to - drum roll please - publish the title in Europe. E3. E3. E3. E3.
