The upcoming mega destination for all things Halo related will be a coupling between Intel and Career, Microsoft have revealed. Each offer separate fixes for Halo junkies gamers.
Intel will house all manner of acquirable content like clips, images, tips and loads more stuff. Career will be stat track central for Halo players, converting achievements into ranks.
Users will also score ”exclusive content you won’t be able to get anywhere else” according to creative director Jason Pace, reports Joystiq. Halo Waypoint is a joint venture between the new Microsoft Halo-centric 343 Industries and Certain Affinity, who staff ex-Bungies.
”Keep an eye on your career: we’re just beginning with Waypoint and there’s a lot more to come,” added Pace. Yes all those statistics will be converted into a ranking and recognition system. It’s all presented in milestone and award form to avid fans of the franchise.
Halo Waypoint fires up November 5th for both Xbox Live Gold and Silver members, however the latter will lose access once November 26th arrives unless they upgrade to Gold. Check out the first look video from developer 343 Industries for Halo Waypoint.
