This week on Xbox Live Arcade a game from Star Wars: Empire at War developer Petroglyph Games will be available to the masses, Panzer General: Allied Assault.
Digital Chocolate has been busy prepping Tower Bloxx Deluxe for its HD release too. Both of these XBLA newcomer titles will be available tomorrow for 800 Microsoft Points each.
”The action-puzzle phenomenon is played by millions on the web, but Xbox Live players get the full HD experience with revolutionary social scoring, avatar support, power ups, and even multiplayer. Get ready for edge of your seat action that’ll have you creating swaying, tipping and tumbling towers sky-high,” goes the Tower Bloxx Deluxe blurb.
The full game comes with 6 game modes to play through. As for the other release…
”Play as a commander of the Allied Forces and recreate the most renowned battles of WWII.
Create a personalized army from your deck of more than 60 collectible cards, including tanks, artillery, infantry and air strikes,” reads the official Panzer General website.
It’s based on the classic Panzer General series and is developed by Petroglyph Games, and they’ve combined turn-based strategy with card collecting. ”Unlock new collectible cards with every campaign or multiplayer battle you play. Match up against a friend, or battle against the players on the Leaderboard.” A board game is in the works too.
These two will be available tomorrow, October 21st, on Xbox Live Arcade for 800 MSP. Check out the Petroglyph videocast below for some explanation behind Panzer General.
