All North American retail copies for Terminator Salvation on PC have been recalled by publisher Evolved Games, an install error code cripples the discs.
The console versions however are ”not affected” and can be played. Evolved are currently ”replicating new copies” with a replacement scheme to be ”announced shortly.”
”We have recalled all PC copies of Terminator Salvation from retail in North America and are currently in the process of replicating new copies,” declared an Evolved rep.
The culprit was error code “-5006 : 0×80070002” which prevents the installation of the game, though all online digital copies of the title seem to be void of this crippling bug.
A ”replacement plan for all end users that that purchased the defect units” is being put into effect with details on how it’ll work to be ”announced shortly.” Poor John Connor, first his TV series gets canned and now half his PC game don’t work - oh the humanity!
