Twitter brings us news of Ed Boon's inner thoughts, and they look promising for Mortal Kombat veterans who like their "kind of sick" fatality moves.
In fact Boon teases they hope they're not taking them "too far", if that's at all possible for blood thirsty videogamers. We, the people, want an M-rated MK "dammit", so we're getting one.
"Motion capturing special moves & fatalities today....they are kind of sick !!" twittered Boon. Later he adds, "Carlos & Rick O. doin some kool fatalities. I hope we aren't taking these too far. :("
"@McCarron U r absolutely right. People want an M-rated MK....dammit we will give them an M-rated MK," he declares, before wrapping up with "still...they are sick. :\".
So, we can expect a totally sick and mature Mortal Kombat when the series returns to us, but they don't want to cross over into AO though - that's too far.
"Yea....I dont know where the line is to make MK an AO rated game. But we definitely dont want to kross it," stated Boon.
"I think players are definitely going to get the "warm & fuzzies" when they see, hear, play & "discover" the next MK," boasted his latest of twitterings.
