Zombie slaying is back in fashion with Killing Floor ready to join the fray, having previously done so in Unreal Tournament as a mod.
So impressive was its own flavour of co-op Zombie brain slugging that Tripwire Interactive has announced it's stepping out on its own. Weapons, perks, slow-mo deaths ...that's Killing Floor.
The aim of the game is simple - to survive as long as you can against the wave upon wave of enemies flooding the map. To do that your team had best come up with some strategies like barricading corridors or even welding doors shut to funnel your foe into a delicious killing.
The brain-dead shufflers aren't as docile as they too have remembered how to swing a chainsaw or let fly a rocket. As you go along players can pickup perks from accomplished feats to help stem the tide of your demise.
There's no release date or platform yet for Killing Floor, so anti-zombie activists should stay tuned.
