Valve and Microsoft have gone live with a title update for Xbox 360’s Left 4 Dead, presumably in preparation for the Game with Fame event; it has Crash Course playable.
The update has improved the infected HUD in versus mode and added recharge timers for the special attacks of your fellow infected. Achievements have also gone up by 10 from 50.
The newly added achievements don’t reveal anything as they’re nameless and carry no weight in Gamerscore yet. ”I’m showing “1 of 60” in the game’s achievement menu. In the dashboard, it shows me with 16 of 50. So something’s up here,” reports Kotaku.
The Game with Fame event is scheduled for tonight, and it’s with band Paramore. The event mentioned it’s an opportunity to play some Crash Course, which is yet to become available on the Xbox Live Marketplace, and is officially dated September 29th for Xbox 360 and PC.
Surely Crash Course is still on the agenda, otherwise it’s a huge coincidence this title update arrived when it did… anyone got Paramore’s number?
