Last year’s VGA event busted open Dante’s Inferno, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Fight Night Round 4 to gamers worldwide, and debuted a whole new God of War III trailer.
This year will be no different teases GTTV’s Geoff Keighley, who reveals VGA 09 has ”got some amazing stuff” to show. We’ll also be getting news on games we ”haven’t seen yet”.
”We haven’t announced any exclusives, but I promise you we’ve got some amazing stuff,” said Keighley, reports Big Download.
”And one cool thing this year is we’re actually going to be announcing a lot of games at the show. There are some games that are announced you haven’t seen yet you might see at the show. But we’re actually going to break a lot of news at the VGA’s, it’s gonna be sort of like E3.”
Awesome. We brave gamers, who’ve endured economic and mass-title-delay hardship this year, will be getting our minds blown hopefully when Spike TV’s Video Game Awards kicks off.
Is there something you’re really crossing those fingers over, to be announced at VGA? As always, at the forefront of my mind… Freedom Fighters 2, Dungeon Keeper 3 and some World in Conflict 2 - that would go down nicely indeed.
