While Braid developer Jonathan Blow is busy on his XBLA hit coming to PC, Hothead Games has been given the reins to develop it for Mac gamers.
The same dev team is also now tackling Twisted Pixel’s The Maw and plan to release it over ”multiple as-of-yet-unannounced digital distribution platforms”, Steam likely one of them.
There’s no release schedule yet for the two titles from Hothead Games. XBLA and PSN provide an excellent venue for quirky and almost insane game ideas that can, unpredictably, take on like wild fire among the gaming community.
Hothead Games are also working on a RPG/Adventure game called ‘DeathSpank’, which has been described as ”Monkey Island meets Diablo”. Interesting.
