MMO Age of Conan has done some spring cleaning, in fact it’s been sprucing up the joint so hard they ‘accidentally’ flushed away an entire system.
Update 5: Gangs of Tarantia adds a huge overhaul to stat and itemisation mechanics to the game, which means more powerful and less cryptic loot for all. Plus loads more new stuffs.
This update is a chance for Funcom to prove that Age of Conan has what it takes to survive, should it fail then it could mark the beginning of the end. The Tarantia Commons zone is included with Update 5, along with the usual new quests, bosses and the like.
New social pets have been added, guild cities have gotten better, PvP ranking benefits have been given a boot up the rear, and now players who already have a level 50 character can start a fresh faced adventurer at level 50. Basically it’s a very early Christmas for Conan subjects…
