Last year Blizzard caused a bit of a stir when they mentioned the upcoming Diablo III close to the word ‘console’, and refused to conclude it would never happen.
Now, according to GameTrailers man Geoff Keighley’s twitter, they still ”haven’t ruled out” a console release and are in fact ”currently talking” with the first parties. Can Blizz pull it off?
”Paul Sams of Blizzard says they haven’t ruled out Diablo III for consoles – and are currently talking to the first parties,” twittered the Keighley.
It’s unlikely that Diablo III will be coming to consoles the same time as the PC version at least, team Blizz have their hands full after all with StarCraft II, their other mysterious MMO project and not to mention getting the new Battle.net up and ready.
The latest class to be revealed for the upcoming RPG is the Monk, which favours fists of fury as he takes down the minions of evil Street Fighter-style. See the clip below for proof!
