Atari has moved away from direct publishing here in Europe, and instead favours a US-centric direction for now. Jeff Lapin has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer.
"Because of a shift of business operations to the US, Phil Harrison will move from the role of president to that of non-executive director of the group. As all board members, he will continue to assist, support and guide the company's strategy," said Atari.
Ex-Sony man Phil Harrison became Atari's president last year in March, but after repeat assassination attempts, biological attacks and unethical interrogation claims... oh wait, sorry I mixed up Atari with '24' for a second there.
Harrison was elbowed out by boardroom ballot - which is much less entertaining.
