CEO Yves Guillemot has revealed that 10 percent of the Ubisoft workforce is assigned to games for the ”next generation of game systems”.
The French publisher goes after this new platform technology ”faster than everyone else”, and was one of the first to develop exclusive Wii titles. How many E3s before we see something?
”10 percent of Ubisoft’s workforce is working on developing games for the next generation of game systems that will eventually replace Wii, Xbox 360 and Sony’s PlayStation 3,” said Guillemot.
”What has helped us is we always take the new technologies right at the beginning of their availability, and we go after them faster than everyone else,” he said.
Well, at least one company is exceedingly optimistic for the future of all three platforms.
