Tecmo has announced Fret Nice, a platform game from Swedish developer Pieces Interactive, played using guitar peripheral controllers. Pieces ”felt sorry” for gamers.
Spending all that dosh on plastic guitars but only having ”pure music games” is unfair, so along comes Fret for XBLA and PSN. It’s the ”perfect blend of two worlds” says boss Johan Hellberg.
Tecmo say it has a unique art style accompanied by great music and will support all the retailed guitar controllers available. ”We felt sorry for gamers who bought a guitar only to be used for pure music games, so we made a platform game for them! Fret Nice is the perfect blend of two worlds,” said Pieces CEO Johan Hellberg, reports VideoGamer.com.
”The game industry is under a lot of stress, we have to differentiate our products against the competition. Fret Nice looks and feels like nothing else!” Fret Nice is releasing for Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network early next year. Does this colour you intrigued?
