Topping the list of suggestions for what should come into the Collections club has been ICO and Shadow of the Colossus. They’re ”keen” to do it.
”As soon as we released God of War Collection, a lot of people were giving us suggestions, and ICO and Shadow of the Colossus, these are at the top of the list,” Sony Worldwide Studios’ Shuhei Yoshida told Joystiq in an interview.
”We are very aware, and we want to see and play in HD in the better frame-rate as well,” he joked, referring to Shadow’s infamously joggy framerate on PS2.
God of War I and II arrived on PS3 in 720p on a single Blu-ray disc to extremely favourable reviews. The Sly Collection is another bundle of past PS2 glory that’s getting a full HD makeover with others also planned.
ICO and Shadow of the Colossus, given their legendary status, are high priorities. ”That’s something we are very keen to look into,” he agreed, ”because we believe in this conversion effort.” What do you want to see make the Collections cut?
