The Limited Edition of the modern day Afghanistan-based shooter will include beta keys. So far no specific information exists on the next Battlefield.
"EA also announced today that people who own the Medal of Honor Limited Edition will receive an invitation to the beta for another highly-anticipated EA shooter, Battlefield 3," blogged EA. They also confirmed it was Swedish team DICE handling the game.
"Restrictions and conditions apply to Beta offer," goes the fine print. We'll have quite a wait yet before we can find out what they are. The only thing we have to go one for Battlefield 3 are past comments from DICE and EA.
"What the PC version is going to be, Battlefield 3, I think it's going to absolutely blow everyone away, but I can't tell you what it is, but it will blow people away... because it's not Modern Warfare 2 PC, it's not that experience," said former DICE chief Fredrik Liliegren back in February this year, around the time Battlefield: Bad Company 2 was launching.
Are your hopes high for Battlefield 3? DICE developed Medal of Honor's multiplayer.
