Darksiders’ Vigil Games are developing the game, with comic guy Joe Madureira as creative lead. It’ll have ”tons” of customisation.
Farrell noted this is the ”highest ranking revenue opportunity” for THQ provided it ran for several years post launch, with Warhammer 40,000 a ”very competitive MMO”.
Vigil Games are developing it alongside a sequel to Darksiders, and Madureira is overseeing the creative side to the MMO. He’s promised loads of avatar customisation and the ”coolest looking characters of any MMO, ever”.
EA Mythic has a Warhammer MMO already in operation but THQ’s occupies the 40k universe which is full of big guns, bigger tanks and super big intergalactic feuds. E3 this year takes place June 15th to the 17th at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
