This tough as nails Contra fest will hit Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. It has 2-player co-op and a three-bullet-before-death wuss mode.
Yes the magic of all that 16-bit Sega Genesis awesomeness that was Contra: Hard Corps is returning to us in the form of Hard Corps: Uprising. Fans will note you actually play as a series bad guy in this one, Colonel Bahamut, who seems to have turned good.
You can be joined by a chum for this ludicrously difficult side-scroller, with the added option of taking three bullets before you die instead of just the one. The developer is Arc System Works and they’re employing an anime art style for Hard Corps: Uprising.
It’s Contra though, no denying that.
