EA has announced that BioWare’s Mass Effect 2 will be on sale for PS3 January 18th in the US, and on the 21st in Europe. The original game is still MIA.
Helping to cover what PS3 gamers missed with Mass Effect will be an interactive comic, telling you all the major moments leading to Mass Effect 2.
The PS3 version comes with all the DLC that was released by BioWare so there’s no need to go scavenging the PlayStation Network later. The Lair of the Shadow Broker, Project Overlord, Kasumi: Stolen Memory and the Blood Dragon Armor are on disc.
To get access to Zaeed and Firewalker content you can get them through the Cerberus Network, which you get a code for if it’s a firsthand copy. Choices made in the special interactive comic carry over into Mass Effect 2.
