Of course "if that should change," they'll let us know. Rockstar's track record has all their console releases brought to the PC eventually.
All the Grand Theft Auto instalments that have started out on console have made their way to the PC, usually after a year. Grand Theft Auto IV was feared to being staying away from the PC but then Rockstar made the surprise announcement.
"As of now, there are no current plans to bring Red Dead Redemption to the PC platform. If that should change, we will let you know," said RockstarGames.com.
Even the Episodes from Liberty City add-ons came to PC. That excellent PS2 and Xbox title Bully dragged itself through to 360 and then PC. I'm sure you're noticing a pattern here, videogamer. It's likely we'll have to wait until 2011 or maybe 2012 for PC Marston.
Think you can wait that long, PC gamer? I know I couldn't and have already flogged by Xbox 360 like a dead horse to play Red Dead Redemption from start to finish.
