E3 2010: PlayStation Plus subscription service confirmed for PS Network

Sony has just confirmed PlayStation Plus, the new subscription service that will allow gamers to gain access to exclusive content over the PlayStation Network.

The service will cost $18 for three months, or you can get access to the content for a full year at $49.99.

Jack Tretton promises that users will get access to “hundreds of dollars” worth of value, and will be giving away Wipeout HD to anyone that subscribes to the service in its first month, along with Rally Cross mini and an inFamous trial.
