Sony to add Japanese PSOne imports to US PlayStation Store

Do you crave PSOne games on your PlayStation 3? Well do you also wish you could stumble through game menus written in Japanese? You’re in luck!

Sony is set to add an import sub-store to PSN for US users to buy Japanese-exclusive PSOne retro classics like Cho Aniki or GaiaSeed.

It would appear that there will be no effort made to localise any of the import releases meaning everything will come ‘as is’ from Japan. So far the confirmed inbound titles are Cho Aniki and GaiaSeed with Blockids and Drop F arriving a bit later on.

There’s no word if Sony plan a similar import PSN section for Europe.
